Maddy has started her first ever, extracurricular activity. Cheerleading with the program Upward. A perfect fit for her in my opinion! And to make the deal even sweeter, she gets to do it with one of her bff's (yes, that is what they call each other), Gracie. Gracie is MY youth pastors daughter. Kind of funny how the Lord works, isn't it?! I love it! It is such a special relationship.The picture above is from a cheer clinic the girls had this past weekend. Talk about stinkin' cute! They learned a dance, cheer and made little buckets to sit on during the game. Maddy didn't do much to hers at the clinic so we are going to take it up a notch and make it super, scrappy cute before the first game :) It was a little tough to get any pictures because they just put 3-4 squads together to show us their new cheer and dance. At the games it will just be Maddy's group of 7 girls and she is in the front row.
It is so fun to watch these girls and they are going to look so adorable in their little cheer outfits at the first game, I can't wait!

Kimberly-if he is doing it through the same church, yes. There are about 6 churches around here that have the Upward program. We'll have to look for him though :D
